When I tried them the first time I knew this would be one of my serving bites. I would later put this on my table as part of a blindfolded tasting course for a Christmas dinner.
The texture was surprisingly delicate. Chewy and very tempting, once you try you definitely want more. It’s so subtle that you don’t notice that you ate all. They are lychee ice cream covered with a dough made from pounded sticky rice. Bubbies Mochi Lychee are from Hawaii, but mochi ice cream is originally a delicatessen from Japan.
