A simple cranberry sauce recipe for Thanksgiving, with some special flavor touches. A Thanksgiving must have.
Ingredients
12 ounces of cranberries
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of orange juice
In a saucepan over low heat dissolve the sugar in orange juice, add the cranberries and cook about 10 to 15 minutes until thickened.
Optional flavors for cranberry sauce:
Orange skin peel
Grated ginger
Porto
Apple cider
